ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON WEDNESDAY – 03/10/2010
- TODAY:
a. Knights will hold the morning chapel service in the north commons.
b. Student trips to worship are to be filled out at the Library desk by the end of period seven. Commuters may request a bus ride on the same sheet.
c. Soccer and track team pictures in the north gym at 3:45 p.m.
d. Supper, 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
e. The bus to worship departs at 6:00 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. Lenten service.
f. Study period and musical practice will occur when the bus returns to campus.
- TOMORROW:
a. Our weekly mission offering will be gathered after the morning chapel service.
b. Mrs. Martha Johnson, Erika and her parents, and Kayla depart for Onalaska, WI at 10:00 a.m. to participate in the WELS Band Festival being held at Luther High School.

- TODAY:
a. Student Council meets in room 115 @ 2:57 p.m.
b. Soccer and track practices begin at 3:30 p.m.

- The third quarter mission offering amounted to $186.50. Once the packages have been sent to the troops, the remaining amount will be sent to the WELS Civilian Chaplaincy ministry which serves the spiritual needs of our troops.

- TODAY:
a. The Bethany Lutheran College Concert Band and Jazz Band will perform in the south gym during period six. Please sit in the center section of the bleachers.
b. Student weekend requests are to be filled out at the Library desk by the end of period seven. This sign-up opportunity includes commuters requesting a ride to worship on Sunday.
- TOMORROW:
a. Departure time for a trip to Lincoln will be arranged by Tutor Biebert and Mrs. Gotta.
b. Brunch is served from 10:30 – 10:50 a.m.
- SUNDAY:
a. The 10:00 a.m. trip to worship will be by vans.
b. The Association and the Ladies’ Auxiliary begin their meetings at 4:00 p.m.
c. Winter Season Activities Banquet in the south gym begins at 6:00 p.m. Meal tickets for dorm residents will be distributed at the event.

a. A Bethany Lutheran College rep will be on campus during the morning. Contact Mrs. Stern to set up an appointment.
b. The Bethany Lutheran College Concert Band and Jazz Band perform during period six in the south gym.

a. Members of the KRT should place needed belongings in the maxi-vans during the lunch period. The vans depart for St. Paul’s, Norfolk at 3:35 p.m.
b. Student trip details to the Lenten service are to be written out in the Library by the end of period seven.
c. Detention in the office at 3:30 p.m.
d. The evening meal is served from 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
e. The bus to worship departs at 6:00 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. service.
f. Study period begins when the bus returns to campus.
- TOMORROW:

a. Blood donors, please remember to bring a photo ID with you when you donate blood.
b. Students who have an appointment for a sports’ physical are to meet at the parking lot doors at 2:45 p.m. to catch the ride to the York Medical Clinic.
c. Musical practice is at 7:30 p.m.
- TOMORROW:
a. Members of the Junior class are to meet in room 111 at 8:00 a.m. to take the ASVAB test. Please bring along 2 #2 pencils. You may also bring a book to read if you finish certain parts of the test early. No calculators are permitted. Any questions about the test should be shared with Mrs. Stern.

- Our thanks to all of the students, parents, and staff members who assisted with the LES basketball tournament in any way. Your help is greatly appreciated!
- TODAY:
a. Students are reminded to meet with Pastor Stelljes as scheduled.
b. The sign-up list for the tomorrow’s American Red Cross blood drive is on the office desk. For 16 year olds, parental permission slips need to be filled out before the blood drive begins.
c. Track team meets in the South Gym at 3:50 p.m. Soccer team practices in the north gym.
d. Musical practice and Math Study Group take place at 7:30 p.m.
- TOMORROW:
a. Blood drive begins at 11:00 a.m.

- Looking ahead to the Easter break which begins on March 31st after classes, flight itineraries of students who need airport transportation should be given to Dean Beckmann when the flight arrangements are completed. Families who are able to host students for the break are also asked to contact Dean Beckmann.
