  1. TODAY:
a.       Following the lunch period, student classroom building lockers will be inspected by the class advisors and keycards will be turned in.
b.      Choir and band practices, 1:00 p.m.
c.       As the decorations are put up, please look at them and enjoy them.
d.      Booster feed in the north commons – no meal ticket is needed.
e.       Awards night in the north gym. 6:00 p.m.
f.        Commencement concert in the north gym, 7:30 p.m.
g.       Pre-grad party in the south gym, 9:15 p.m. – Please use the north doors.
 
  1. TOMORROW
a.       Breakfast, 8:30 – 8:50 a.m.
b.      Graduation service in the north gym, 10:00 a.m.
c.       Students are asked to be checked out of the dorm by 1:00 p.m.

ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON THURSDAY - 05/13/2010 – The Ascension of our Lord
 
  1. TODAY:
a.       Both morning and evening chapel services will rejoice in the ascension of our Lord.
b.      Basketball meeting in Room 115, 2:35 p.m.
c.       Detention in the office, 2:35 p.m.
d.      New KRT rehearsal, 3:00 p.m.
e.       Supper, 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
f.        Evening chapel and study period are at the normal times. It is a no Knight Out evening. Senior class meets in the Science room for a movie and pizza
g.       Please deliver dorm room garbage to the dumpster today.
 
  1. TOMORROW
a.       Breakfast, 7:45 – 8:10 a.m.
b.      Period two test, 8:30 a.m.
c.       Period six test, 10:30 a.m.
d.      After lunch, lockers will be inspected and keycards turned in. Commuter room will be inspected.

05/11 Announcements - Second semester tests day one

ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON TUESDAY - 05/11/2010
 
  1. TODAY:
a.       The lunch split of students will be the same as any school day.
b.      Period seven test, 1:00 p.m.
c.       Track practice begins at 3:10 p.m.
d.      Supper, 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
e.       Evening chapel and study period are at the normal times.
 
  1. TOMORROW
a.       Breakfast, 8:00 – 8:20 a.m.
b.      Track team departs at 8:15 a.m. Due to the weather, running events may be first, then field events.
c.       Period two begins at 8:49 a.m. – a schedule of the day is posted – no tones will be operating.
d.      Supper, 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
 
  1. When taking trash to the dumpster, please put the trash in a section where the lid can again go shut. When the front of the dumpster full, open a back lid. The dumpster does get emptied on Friday, so please get as much trash as possible to the dumpster on Thursday.

05/10 Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON MONDAY - 05/10/2010
 
  1. TODAY:
a.       Any students who have worked in the kitchen this school year are to meet in Room 115 after classes.
b.      Supper is served from 5:30 – 5:50 p.m.
c.       Students who are part of the Mexico trip are to meet in room 120 at 6:00 p.m.
d.      Semester test reminders:
                                                               i.      Any students on York trips are to be back on campus in time for evening chapel
                                                             ii.      During study period, students are in their dorm rooms. Study groups will need written teacher permission given to the dean before the beginning of period 8. Students who plan to do some packing of belongings during study period should have all luggage and boxes in the dorm room before study period begins. The rooms of seniors will be inspected during study period.
                                                            iii.      Commuting students who plan to be in a dorm room during study period are to request that of the dean before period 8 begins.
                                                           iv.      All dorm residents are to remain on campus during the time after study period
 
  1. TOMORROW
a.       Breakfast, 7:45 – 8:10 a.m.
b.      Period one test begins at 8:30 a.m.
c.       The lunch schedule of students will be the same as other school days.
d.      Period four and period seven also meet for tests.

b.      Bus or van to Centennial for track meet helpers, 9:30 a.m. Dean Beckmann will have meal tickets for students at the meet.
c.       York bus will occur after helpers have returned to campus from the meet. Listen for the paged announcement.
d.      Supper, 5:30 – 5:50 p.m. if the York trip has been completed.
e.       Communion registration sheets will be available in both dormitories

ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON WEDNESDAY - 05/05/2010
 
  1. TODAY:
a.       KRT tryout information is located outside of the Music Room. Please pick up the information soon and then schedule a tryout.
b.      Our weekly mission offering will be gathered after morning chapel
c.       Supper is served from 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
d.      Senior guys – tutors – Mr. Olson to Bubba’s in Strang for wings, etc. Meet by the vans in the south gravel parking lot at 5:15 p.m.
 
  1. TOMORROW:
a.       Knights will hold morning chapel in the north commons
b.      Track team departs at 12:15 p.m. for the meet at Fillmore Central [Geneva]
c.       Supper, 5:00 – 5:20 p.m.
 
  1. End of the school year items:
a.       Dormitory rooms of the seniors will be inspected during an evening study period next week. The rooms of the underclassmen will be inspected after everyone has headed home for the summer.
b.      On Friday, May 14th, classroom lockers and the commuter room will be inspected. Key cards will be turned in as well.
c.       As dormitory residents continue the packing process, card board boxes are available. Request one or more from a dorm mom or from the dean.
d.      If you are storing items over the summer in the dormitory, arrange the storage details with a dorm supervisor.
